Melanie Williams

Melanie has been consistently performing in regional and community theatre in San Diego and Ohio since 1999, and has also assisted directed and choreographed productions in Ohio. She has won two regional theatre awards in Ohio for her performances in Quilters and Jesus Christ Superstar. Some of her local performances have included productions at La Jolla Playhouse, Star Theatre, Coronado Playhouse, and Legoland theme park. Some of Melanie's favorite credits include; "Luisa" in The Fantasticks, Thoroughly Modern Millie, "Millie" in "Brooke" and "Poppy" in two separate productions of Noises Off, Bad Seed, "Christine" in "Mona" in Chicago, Annie, "Lily" in and "Mary Jane" in Big River. 


Melanie graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Liberal Arts with focuses in Vocal Music and Psychology. She has been teaching enrichment classes for children in San Diego since 2012. Currently, Melanie also teaches theatre, dance, music, and yoga with Christian Youth Theatre, Evolution Dance Center, Nightingale Music, and at various preschools in the county.  Melanie loves sharing her passion for the performing arts with youth, and considers it an honor and privilege to work with so many students.
